We are currently working with a multisite manufacturer across the UK that supplies to well-known brands. They have recently restructured the organisation, including leadership change which has resulted in significant growth in profitability for the business. The finance team has remained stable but with a number of promotions within, which has resulted in this position being vacant. Finance Controller This site finance controller job will have ownership of the management accounts and analysis for one of their north west based sites. You will report directly to the group's Finance Director and alongside the production of the management accounts, provide timely reporting and analysis on the manufacturing KPI’s, also reporting to site management on production. You will review and amend standard costs as appropriate, support with budgets and forecasts preparation and participate in some year-end statutory accounting processes and audit. You’ll also work with cost centre managers to support controlling spend, analysing ROI and supporting the team in interpreting the numbers. Requirements This role is for what you may call a traditional manufacturing business that is in a transitional stage of significant change. You will be expected to have a firm grounding in producing accounts with the ability to adapt and change your processes, always keen for process improvement in order to support efficiency. You will need a down-to-earth character with the ability to build relationships with all. Salary and Benefits Salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience, most likely between £55,000 and £65,000.
