This role has been created due to the inception of a new division for the company. The accounting to date has been undertaken by the wider group, but due to continued growth, they are now seeking to appoint a dedicated accountant/controller to manage the end-to-end financial obligations for the division and, longer term, grow a team underneath.
Key responsibilities will include:
Taking full responsibility for all management and financial accounting aspects for the divisions. Business partnering with operational stakeholders, and supporting the GM/MD to forecast performance. Reporting to the board on performance to budget, presenting variances and suggesting improvements. Lead POC with the auditors. Supporting and developing financial systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information. Leading and developing a small team (longer term). Liaising with the sister manufacturing company (Germany).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation primed for further growth, and the chance to really shape this new division as they expand into new markets.
Ideally, they are seeking a fully qualified Accountant; however, an ambitious candidate with solid experience in manufacturing/engineering will be considered as study support will be provided if necessary.
They are looking to interview w/c 13th January, so don't miss your chance to work for this hugely successful business with low attrition rates, offering great career prospects and a collaborative working environment.
