Midlands SME contractor is looking for a freelance Site Manager from 10th February until circa end July for the construction of a new high bay warehouse, conversion of an existing building, as well as new offices.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be working alongside another Site Manager and will primarily be responsible for overseeing all Site Manager duties on a day-to-day basis, including:
Supervision of all subcontract labour packages
Site inductions
Management of health & safety
Checking and ensuring all RAMS are completed and complied with
Issuing of permits
Ensuring that all CDM regulations are adhered to
Ltd/CIS rates will be negotiable between 250-280, and PAYE at 200 per day depending upon levels of experience.
Working hours will be 7am-6pm with occasional Saturday working. A CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates are mandatory requirements; without all of these, no application will be considered.
Ideal candidates will have previously and currently worked for Tier 1/2 build contractors and have experience with a proven track record working on Distribution/Industrial units.
