Refurb/Social Housing Gordon Leak Associates are working with a well-established and highly reputable company who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Main Duties

Overseeing the safe delivery of a project involving external roofing and rendering. Provide health and safety leadership to your site delivery team, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe manner and do not cause risk to installers, occupants, and the general public. Liaising closely with the Operational Support Team to ensure works are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and in a compliant way to ensure quality and compliance standards are met. Liaise closely with occupants and homeowners to ensure they are kept fully informed of progress and any matters which may arise during installation of the works. Ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors, and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including health & safety, quality assurance, and installation standards. Ensure works carry out minimal disruption for occupants and homeowners and ensure areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. Carry out toolbox talks and daily activity briefings with sub-contractors and direct workforce when necessary. Maintain accurate records of works done and in progress and share this with the Operational Support team on a regular basis. Liaise with the Operational Support team to order general materials as required to complete the project. Ensure works are carried out to a high standard complying with relevant industry and system manufacturers’ standards, completed, snagged, and defect-free. Lead the site team to deliver the company’s management expectations successfully across all key areas of the project. What We Will Need From You

Experience of working in occupied buildings/homes (essential). Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations (essential). SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid (essential). Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office or similar tablet-based quality assurance software (essential). Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills (essential). High level of organisational ability along with time management skills to drive and meet deadlines (essential). Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken (essential). Commitment to providing a high-quality service demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness, and flexibility (essential).
