Your new company Your new company is a Property Developer specialising in the residential sector in Northern Ireland and this role will be within their construction side of the business, who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team. Based in East Belfast, your new employer works alongside their sister company operating the construction arm of the business, as well as a stable senior management team in place to guarantee the success of the business and make sure they are seen as the ‘go to’ residential developer in N.I. Building luxurious private developments in the Greater Belfast and Ards Peninsula areas, this company offers continued support, and you will help shape the housing market in Northern Ireland for years to come with exciting upcoming projects already secured.

Your new role As Site Manager, you will be expected to oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential construction projects from inception to completion. This includes managing the construction site, supervising subcontractors, ensuring the project is completed within timeframe and to the highest standards which the company is well known for.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Manage and oversee all aspects of residential construction sites, ensuring project progress on time and to required specifications. Managing and controlling subcontractors. Ensure all health and safety is followed throughout all stages of works. Conduct regular site meetings and inspection updates to monitor work standards. Communicate with senior management and clients on updates and make aware of any issues faced during the project. Manage materials and resources ensuring there are adequate supplies of each to allow the job to stay within timeframe.

What you'll need to succeed The successful applicant will need to have proven experience working at a similar level within a residential construction setting. Excellent communication skills to be able to properly work alongside management and guarantee successful completion. Relevant experience is essential and, ideally, you will come from a trade background, so you have knowledge of the projects at hand. A health & safety first mindset with a keen eye to detail allowing all work to be completed to the expected standards. All relevant tickets associated with being on site. While residential experience is essential, it is also essential to have construction experience and relevant experience of being involved in large scale residential projects for this role.
