A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Site Manager to join a leading Tier One Main Contractor, working on a hospital refurbishment project in Birmingham. This is a key role, and we are seeking an experienced individual who can manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the site. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the project runs smoothly, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You will manage a team, run toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of the hospital refurbishment project from start to finish. Manage all site activities, including scheduling, logistics, and manpower. Conduct regular toolbox talks and ensure the site operates in a safe manner. Implement and monitor health and safety procedures in line with best practices. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery. Ensure all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Take the lead on-site, reporting into senior management as required. Qualifications & Experience: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. Valid CSCS card. First Aid trained. Experience as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager, ideally with experience in running sites as a number one or number two. Proven experience in managing hospital or healthcare refurbishment projects is desirable but not essential. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desirable: Previous experience working with a Tier One Main Contractor. Experience in managing large, complex refurbishment or newbuild projects. What’s on Offer: Competitive salary, based on experience.
