Immediate - ASAP The Company: Our client is a fast-growing and privately owned main contractor in the Bristol area with a strong client portfolio across main contracting sectors. The company specializes in New Build and refurbishment projects within Apartments and Commercial sectors on projects typically between £100k - £10m in value. Site Manager - The Role: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join the team initially on a £10m new build residential apartment project in central Bristol. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day aspects of construction, overseeing an Assistant Site Manager, and reporting to a Project Manager. Standalone manager, able to work on own initiative to achieve key project KPIs Short-term programming and management Strong SHE ethic High quality, accurate, and timely reporting Good communicator at all levels; liaising within Halsall, contractors, consultants, and clients Strong technical knowledge based on varied experience Time management skills Have successfully completed projects of similar type and scale to our profile Discuss and comment on programme/dates for sub-contractors with the Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor Arrange and install primary Site Signage/hoarding/temporary fencing, and check all main drainage within the site footprint Ensure that engineering controls are consistent, regular, and thorough Establish positive communication with the Design Team Maintain quality check procedure Mark weekly progress to issued progress chart on company system Ensure Health and Safety measures are fully implemented and controlled at all times Advise the Project Manager of any deviations in quality or agreed sequences Establish positive communications with the Client where necessary Site Manager - The Person: Experience working for a regional or national main contractor Experience on New build construction projects of at least £6m in value Experience in a range of building sectors with well-rounded experience Experience in RC frame/brickwork/blockwork Commutable to Bristol without staying away or relocation Experience as Site Manager - with a strong record for delivery Trade or further education background The Reward: Competitive salary Company car allowance Bonus scheme Company benefits package Varied and unique projects Continued projects Please contact Foresight Search for more information on this, or any other vacancy.
