Involve Recruitment are in search for a permanent Site Manager for our client, a high-end Residential New Build and Refurbishment contractor. This role is a permanent position; however, the initial project will be from £4+ million, and the Site Manager will be present from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all labour, materials, and subcontractors, supported by a team of second site managers, contract managers, and Quantity Surveyors. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage resources to achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage site operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinate and oversee the work of various teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and project execution. Prepare reports on site performance, including productivity metrics and compliance with regulations. Provide training and support to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Experience

10 years industry experience. 5 years Site Management experience. SMSTS & First Aid (Essential). Temporary Works Coordinator (Preferred). Competency with Outlook, Excel, Word, PDF, and programming software such as MS Project. High-end Residential (Preferred) or Commercial. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to site management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and motivate staff towards achieving common goals.
