An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Client for a Site Manager to oversee operations and co-ordinate the installation of a large construction project based in Burton on Trent. This role is essential in ensuring high levels of Health & Safety, client service, timely execution, and installation quality to achieve maximum client satisfaction. As the point of reference for the workers, you will be a key person in the completion of projects within the team. An excellent opportunity for a dynamic forward-thinking Site Manager or an experienced Assistant Site Manager ready for their next career move. Essential Responsibilities

Daily Management: Oversee the on-site construction process, ensuring smooth operations. Health & Safety: Take full responsibility for Health & Safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Site Inductions: Conduct site inductions to inform workers of site-specific rules and safety protocols. Contractor Relations: Foster strong working relationships between all contractors to ensure effective collaboration. Work Schedules: Arrange and manage work schedules to ensure timely project progression. Hands-On Involvement: Participate in construction work as needed to support the team. Toolbox Talks: Conduct daily toolbox talks to address safety issues and site updates. Accountability: Be accountable for the project's progress and outcomes. Health & Safety Culture: Drive and uphold the company's Health & Safety culture across the site. Key Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Site Manager, with a proven track record in managing construction sites. SMSTS: Site Management Safety Training Scheme (essential). Telehandler Qualification: Desirable but not mandatory. Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently. Leadership: Strong leadership skills to direct and motivate the team, making quick and effective decisions. Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and report effectively, both orally and in writing. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to handle challenges and obstacles promptly. IT Literacy: Proficient in using IT tools and software for project management and reporting. Driver's Licence: Full driver's licence required. Forward Thinking: Capable of strategic planning and forward thinking to anticipate project needs and challenges. Other Key Information
