SMSTS, First Aid Certification Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a construction project in Cambridge, starting on 13th January 2025. The role is expected to last for 10 months, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that the project runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule. The day rate for this position starts at 350 per day, with potential for negotiation based on experience. Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision:

Manage and oversee all site activities, ensuring that the project progresses according to plan, within budget, and on schedule. Health & Safety:

Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety and compliance. Team Leadership:

Supervise and coordinate on-site workers, subcontractors, and other personnel, ensuring efficient and effective execution of tasks. Site Reporting:

Provide daily updates and progress reports to the Project Manager. Monitor performance and highlight any issues or delays. Quality Control:

Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards, complying with project specifications and quality control procedures. Coordination with Stakeholders:

Liaise with architects, engineers, and other relevant parties to resolve any issues or concerns. Document Management:

Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets, safety reports, and other documentation required for compliance. Required Qualifications & Skills: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Certification

- Essential First Aid Certification

- Essential Proven experience as a Site Manager in a similar construction environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and construction procedures. Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage a team and coordinate multiple tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project management tools.
