Site Manager

to join one of our smaller but busy cold store site in

Cannock . This operation manages about 4,000 pallets a week and you’ll have a small but mighty team to support you. You will oversee and manage all site activities in a safe, efficient, and timely fashion, to ensure all of the site activities are completed to provide 100% service and accuracy for our business and our customers. Actively promoting and working within specified standards of depot Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and GXO Values. This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00. We do require some flexibility for peak season, this is logistics after all! Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to

£42,000

per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: Ensure that all colleagues are fully conversant with and committed to compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures Manage, support, and motivate the all-site colleagues to achieve daily output objectives and deliver shift KPI’S Ownership of trading budget & site financial performance and work in collaboration with our customers and actively seek new business opportunities for the site Walk the warehouse to monitor and record performance and provide support where necessary Use and manage the use of MHE appropriate to training/certification, as directed and in a safe manner undertaking Pre-Shift checks of equipment What you need to succeed at GXO: Experienced operational manager with excellent H&S knowledge Strong interpersonal and leadership skills biased towards motivation and engagement Results orientated with the ability to consistently deliver to deadlines IOSH managing safely is essential with MHE experience and licenses advantageous We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
