February 2025 About the Company: We are recruiting on behalf of a strong Tier 2 Main Contractor renowned for delivering high-quality, large-scale projects across the UK. This contractor has a proven track record in the construction of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments and is now seeking a well-rounded Site Manager to join their team for an exciting £77M student accommodation project in Canterbury. Project Overview: This ambitious project involves the construction of 840 student accommodation units, divided across four blocks. With demolition starting in February 2025, the program will run for 120 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take on a key role in a significant development. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all on-site activities to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and quality control checklists. Liaise with the client, project team, and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues that arise. Monitor the procurement of materials and ensure they are delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
