Site Manager - Civils
– Salary up to £48,000 per annum, plus staying away bonus, annual bonus. The Company The company specializes in the installation of Water, Gas & Electricity services, delivering a nationwide service providing a complete multi-utility solution. The Role This role would suit someone experienced in utility excavation work, particularly in water projects including trenching, installation of gravity mains, rising mains, and manholes. You will be working for a utility subcontractor and should be experienced in the requirements of major contractors. Duties Running the site paperwork including updating RAMS, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, and HAVS info. Giving inductions, daily briefings, toolbox talks, and attending/holding regular progress meetings with suppliers and the client. Daily and weekly reporting, as well as arranging and coordinating labour, plant, and materials. Managing both subcontractors and the company's own labour and plant, ensuring effective communication and direction at all levels. Resolving problems/issues as they arise while ensuring safety, quality, and commercial goals are met. Requirements As a minimum, you will hold SMSTS, Streetworks Supervisor, and First Aid accreditations. Good IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office programs. Salary & Other Benefits This is a permanent vacancy offering a salary up to £48,000, 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a company car, death in service benefits after a qualifying period, and a Nest pension.
