Site Manager - Civils
- Salary up to £48,000 per annum, plus staying away bonus, annual bonus.
The Company The company specializes in the installation of Water, Gas & Electricity services, delivering a nationwide service providing a complete multi-utility solution.
The Role This role would suit someone who is very experienced in utility excavation work, with a particular bias towards water projects including trenching, installation of gravity mains, rising mains, and manholes. You will be working for a utility subcontractor and should be experienced in the requirements of major contractors.
Duties Duties will involve running the site paperwork including updating RAMS, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, HAVS info, plus giving inductions, daily briefings, toolbox talks, and attending/holding regular progress meetings with suppliers and the client. Daily and weekly reporting to be done as well as arranging and coordinating labour, plant, and materials.
Your role will involve managing both subcontractors & the company's own labour and plant, so you should be able to communicate and direct at all levels, as well as be able to think on your feet and sort any problems/issues out as they arise, ensuring the safety, quality, and commercial goals of the project are met at all times.
Requirements As a minimum, you will hold SMSTS, Streetworks Supervisor, and First Aid accreditations. You will possess good IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office programmes.
Salary & Other Benefits This is a permanent vacancy which offers a salary up to £48,000, 23 Days annual leave plus bank holidays, company car, Death in service benefits after a qualifying period, and Nest pension.
