Join a leading construction and engineering firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects with precision and professionalism. We are looking for an experienced and driven Site Manager to oversee site operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Full control and management of site works in line with contract documents. Co-ordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Conduct regular toolbox talks and maintain strong communication with site teams. Uphold and enforce company health and safety standards and procedures. Monitor quality control to ensure compliance with contract and statutory requirements. Oversee subcontractor and in-house labour performance, reporting progress to the project team. Manage material and equipment requirements, ensuring timely procurement and deployment. Supervise testing works and maintain accurate site documentation. Ensure all site activities are completed to the agreed time, cost, and quality specifications. Attend site meetings and support the design team where necessary. Take proactive steps to identify and implement business and quality improvements. Manage communication, correspondence, and project documentation efficiently. Act as a role model, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment. Subcontractor & Cost Management: Conduct regular subcontractor control meetings and monitor account analysis. Validate subcontractor valuations and variations. Record and manage variations and costs efficiently, ensuring profitability. Planning & Monitoring: Compile and track project and commissioning programmes. Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management. Conduct weekly site health & safety inspections and implement corrective measures where necessary. Produce comprehensive health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction or engineering sector. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain a high standard of site operations. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and construction planning methodologies. Commitment to health & safety and quality assurance. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
