About the Site Manager role: As the Site Manager at NMCC, you will provide effective and efficient management for the National Museums Collection Centre based at Granton, Edinburgh, reporting to the Head of Facilities Management. You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the National Museums Collection Centre, including managing relationships, site security, materials handling, and vehicle management. As our Site Manager at National Museums Scotland you will: * Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the National Museums Collection Centre * Manage the allocated budget and oversee purchasing/expenditure and ensure adherence to ‘best value’ principles * Undertake the procurement of and the responsibility for management, legal compliance, and day-to-day running of the NMS fleet ensuring * Develop, implement and review emergency procedures at National Museums Collection Centre * Have overall responsibility for day-to-day management and motivation of the FM staff team and manage and coordinate all contractor activity

Skills and experience we’re looking for in our Site Manager: * Significant proven experience as a facilities manager or site manager * Proven management experience of personnel & budgets * A knowledge and understanding of current developments in the Facilities Management sector * An understanding of customer service management with the ability to manage expectations and available resources
