Site Manager Glasgow £40,000 - £43,000 DOE The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for a Site Manager with hands-on experience. This role will suit an experienced Site Manager or an experienced Site Supervisor, who is looking to take the next step in their career to a management level. Overview of the Role: Site Manager £40,000.00 - £43,000.00 Holidays: 30 days. Additional days per year of service, maximum of 5. Buy back scheme of additional 5 days Pension Employee Referral Scheme 10% Discount card – Tradepoint/B&Q Location – Glasgow Responsibilities Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Efficiently manage materials, equipment, and tools optimizing resources for maximum productivity. Ability to read drawings and set out work and complete as per designs. Liaising with Contract Manager/Clients and reporting on progress. Supervising construction workers and subcontractors. Work to specified timeframes. Material take-off and ordering for each phase of the project. Monitoring project progress and reporting on it to your line manager. Devising, implementing, and ensuring safe systems of work are in place and followed. Conducting quality inspections. Checking over designs and drawings. Maintaining quality control checks. Supervise and motivate a team. Day-to-day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise. Working in live premises with members of the public. Essential Skills Proven experience of working as an experienced Site Supervisor/Manager demonstrating craftsmanship within the Social Housing sector. A minimum entry level of a 3-day SSSTS Site Supervisor or 5-day accreditation and/or an SMSTS Site Manager accreditation. Knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations. Supervisory/People management experience. Good knowledge of building and construction. Excellent time management and leadership skills. Business/Project management skills. Ability to communicate at all levels effectively. Good initiative and proactive logical thinking skills. Clean driving license and willingness to travel. Clear disclosure Scotland check. CSCS card. Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in the UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided.
