Role Overview
As a Site Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of an existing construction site involving a full refurbishment of an existing £8m property. This starts with work on outbuildings, primarily decoration (internal & external), French polishing, 2nd fixings throughout (lights, faceplates, etc), joinery snagging, FF&E installation, and testing & commissioning. From coordinating subcontractors to ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, you'll drive project success and maintain our high standards of quality and safety. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gain valuable experience, and showcase your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor project progress and budget, identifying and addressing any issues or delays. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns. Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager in the high-spec residential industry. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Safety conscious, with an eye for detail, ability to read a programme, and a cooperative attitude. Ideally, experience using SmartSheet. Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., CSCS card, SMSTS certificate, First Aid, etc). About the Company
