Are you an experienced Site Manager with a flair for high-end luxury construction? I'm looking for a talented professional to lead the transformation of a historic barn on a stately home estate into a bespoke, high-end residence. This is a unique opportunity to manage a prestigious project in one of Yorkshire's most picturesque locations.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering this £2 million luxury barn conversion. Responsibilities include:

Team Leadership:

Overseeing a skilled team of up to 20 tradespeople and direct reports, ensuring productivity and high standards of work.

Sub-Contractor Management:

Coordinating specialist sub-contractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring seamless integration of their work with the wider project.

Project Oversight:

Managing all on-site operations, from planning to execution, ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget.

Quality Control:

Upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and finish, with a focus on delivering a luxury fit-out that exceeds client expectations.

Commercial Management:

Monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure financial and operational goals are met.

Health and Safety:

Enforcing all relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.

About You

I'm seeking a Site Manager with:

High-End Fit-Out Expertise:

Proven experience in delivering high-quality residential or heritage projects, ideally involving bespoke finishes.

Leadership and Communication Skills:

The ability to inspire and coordinate a diverse team and maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.

Commercial Acumen:

Strong financial awareness and the ability to manage costs effectively while ensuring value for money.

Attention to Detail:

A meticulous approach to construction quality and the finer details of high-end finishes.

Problem-Solving Ability:

Quick thinking and a proactive approach to managing challenges and changes on-site.
