The Governors are eager to appoint a Site Manager who is pro-active, hardworking, motivated and passionate who will take pride in how the school looks and functions. The post comprises of 37 hours per week covering flexible shifts with a requirement to work a split shift in term time and to meet the needs of the school during the school holidays. Shifts will be: Monday - Friday 6:30am – 10:00am (9:30am Friday) 2:00pm – 6:00pm Main areas of responsibility are security and health and safety of the school buildings and grounds, daily H&S checks, fire log, general portage duties, handyperson duties (which may include minor repairs to furniture and fixtures), and minor decorating tasks. For this role, it is essential that you have previous Caretaking or Premise management experience. Safeguarding Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance is required for this role. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children, you are breaking the law if you apply for this post. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
