Your new company A leading housebuilder offering a range of properties across North Kent and SE London now seeks an experienced site manager to help deliver a flagship scheme in the greater Dartford area. With multiple sites in the region, they typically work on larger 100-unit-plus sites for both private sale and in partnership with ha's. Schemes are a mixture of traditional housing and apartments and tend to be phased developments lasting several years. With a large landbank, strong sales, a stable workforce and multiple live current schemes, they are a respected housebuilder that offer a long-term career with excellent prospects and stability. Due to several new projects starting and production increasing in general, a site manager is now being sought to oversee a traditional build apartment scheme. Entering a new phase on site, the role is newly created and will be working within a team of 4 on the busy scheme. Your new role As Site manager, you will work in a management team of 4 on site, reporting to a site-based Project manager. You will be ultimately responsible for enforcing the programme, ensuring health and safety, liaising with the client and external stakeholders reporting on progress and risk to the senior management and generally managing the direct and indirect site teams to ensure productivity. You will be in regular contact with the wider senior management and commercial teams reporting on your phase of works. What you'll need to succeed You will have worked for a major housebuilder previously and have strong experience of delivering low-level apartment schemes. You will be comfortable managing your own phase of works and working as part of larger site team. The role is permanent and will be based in North Kent for the foreseeable future. Future schemes will be in the North Kent/SE London area.
