This company has achieved steady growth over recent years and has a solid pipeline covering the next decade. Your new role Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee a residential conversion project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial builds, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include: Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers. Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Monitor and enforce safety regulations and protocols. Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or delays. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports. Resolve any on-site conflicts or issues promptly and effectively. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction, particularly in conversion projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. CSCS, SMSTS and first aid certifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
