We are looking for a Site Manager to work on contracts ranging from 1 to 5 million in Leeds, focusing on office fit-out projects as well as external works, including a large window project.
A business that specializes in construction refurbishments is seeking a Site Manager to join a growing team in Leeds.
They require someone with previous experience as a Site Manager who can demonstrate expertise in coordinating office refurbishments. This role will be part of the Site Operations team and will support the Project Manager, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality projects.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Project Manager regarding client requirements and overall project specifications and program.
Be responsible for the completion and maintenance of the onsite Construction Safety Manual.
Undertake site setup relevant to project size and scale, including the organization of standard PPE, signage, and site setup materials.
Arrange, carry out, or oversee site inductions for internal/external trades and visitors.
Understand the schedule of works for project(s) and provide issued drawings/space plans to relevant trades.
Supervise Project Team Members.
Coordinate the delivery and distribution of materials on site.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all company Health and Safety processes, policies, and procedures, promoting compliance across site(s).
Build and maintain relationships with all colleagues, especially project and site managers.
Skills and Experience:
Experience within the building trade or construction fit-out and refurbishment sector.
Aiming to develop a career in management.
Experience working on external schemes.
Qualifications:
Willing to undertake relevant construction-based training (CSCS, Asbestos Awareness, etc.).
Hold an SMSTS.
First Aid certification.
Full UK Drivers Licence.
