We are seeking a Site Manager with strong highways and bridge construction experience to join a GBP35M+ project with a Principal Contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of site operations to deliver a safe, efficient, and cost-effective service. Review method statements and risk assessments for compliance and best practice. Organize and chair pre-start meetings with subcontractors and attend hand-over meetings with the pre-construction team. Issue appropriate notices and contractual correspondence to subcontractors as needed. Maintain accurate site diaries and monitor risks and progress. Control and monitor subcontractor day works and ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) First Aid Certification Minimum 5+ years in a similar role. Strong background in highways and bridge construction, ideally with experience in concrete or shuttering joinery. Ability to provide two professional references. Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office.
