Site Manager This role requires someone with at least five years' experience as a Site Manager from the UK utilities, HV power, electricity or EV energy sectors. A full UK driving licence is a necessity with flexibility to travel UK wide when required in line with business or project demands. Our Client Our client is one of the UK’s leading multi-disciplinary utilities, LV / HV power, telecommunications, multi-utility, civil engineering, infrastructure, and EV and renewable energy contractors. They have the skills and expertise to design and deliver complex projects in highly regulated and hazardous environments across a number of different service lines, regional offices and business units. Overview Due to an increase in contract awards, a significant forward order workload, multiple long-running frameworks, and a dedication to continued profitable and sustained growth, our client is now seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager covering the aforementioned areas, including all associated civils and infrastructure. You will hold responsibility for planning, programming, resourcing and delivering projects, contracts and frameworks in your respective workstream. This is a pivotal role, responsible for the management and mitigation of project risk, culminating in the on-time delivery of a portfolio of complex and challenging works, meeting business and legislative requirements in project performance, client expectations and HSEQ compliance. The Role Managing LV / HV power and EV sites, also including all civils aspects, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations (HSE, CDM, COSHH, NRSWA, HASAWA etc), and achieving agreed delivery and quality timescales. Working on singular or multiple sites running simultaneously at differing stages. Organisation of labour, plant, materials, resources and sub-contractors. Implement safety rules, instructions, standing orders and procedures. Prepare site safety and CDM plans and Risk Assessments as part of overall programs. Actively monitor teams within your line management responsibility. Ensure Risk Assessments are carried out at all stages of a project (design, planning, generic and Daily On Site). Ensure that all statutory records, certificates, licenses, notifications and notices are in place. Conduct site safety inspections and complete associated paperwork. The Person A qualification in electrical or civil engineering (or demonstrable level of achievement through experience). Certificated in First Aid, Manual Handling, NRASWA, SMSTS, SHEA Power, CSCS. Experienced in managing multiple sites in the utilities or electricity sectors. Sound site management skills and methodology. Good team management skills. Computer literate. Knowledge of H&S and its practical implications, CDM regulations and HAUC. Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience. Full UK driving licence. Ability to understand, manage and deliver KPIs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to travel UK wide as required in line with business or site requirements.
