We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a high-end office fit-out project in the heart of Manchester. This GBP1.2 million project requires a professional with a proven track record in managing similar high-specification commercial fit-outs, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring the project progresses as scheduled. Maintain high standards of quality and finish, adhering to the client's expectations. Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers effectively. Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress meetings. Report regularly on project updates to senior management and the client.
Requirements: Demonstrable experience managing high-end fit-out projects, ideally in the commercial sector. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols. Excellent organisational and communication skills. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (essential). Ability to handle challenges and problem-solve on-site.
