I am working with a well-known local modular contractor to recruit a Site Manager to join an exciting project in Newquay on a fixed term basis.
You will work with a reputable main contractor to assist with the delivery of a multi-million pound modular accommodation block build.
Responsibilities will include:
Management of sub-contractors, labour and materials. On-site Health & Safety, adhering to the clients' regulations and policies. Reporting to the roving Project Manager, you may need to make some amendments to plans as the build progresses. Create reports and stay in frequent communications with the Project Manager & the clients' Project Manager.
Candidate requirements: Must have SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid at Work is essential; modular build experience is preferred. IT literate. Diligent, hardworking and committed to the build. DBS, BPSS & SC clearance will be required - my client cannot accept applications that require an overseas visa or have dual nationality. Must live local to Newquay.
This role is initially only 7 months, but there is the possibility to move to a new site after, although this may not be local.
On offer is a salary up to £55,000 & car allowance, as well as other employed benefits.
