LEGGWORK is working with a large contractor to supply a Site Manager to work on a Commercial/Strip out project in Oxford. We are looking for the correct candidate to start in the next 2-4 weeks and will be on this project for at least the duration. We need a candidate with proficient experience and an M&E Bias. However, good overall Construction Knowledge is also required. WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME?
Utilise your experience and knowledge to help solve any minor issues that arise on site. Read and correctly interpret drawings and plans to communicate a clear plan to Tradespeople and subcontractors. Clearly explain tasks and instructions to other members of the team. Motivate a team and keep morale high. Oversee a team and keep on track with task deadlines. Liaise with the site manager regarding ordering materials. Other duties as required. Be reliable, hard-working, and maintain a good attitude. WHAT WILL I NEED?
A healthy amount of experience in site management roles. A broad understanding of the various roles on site. An up-to-date and well-organised CV. Two recent work references. NVQs and relevant qualifications within this field are desirable. A reliable plan to commute to work. Availability for an interview at the start of the new year. SSSTS or SMSTS Ticket.
