I have an opportunity for a Site Manager with a Carpentry background to join a business who specialise in bespoke residential projects throughout Devon and Cornwall.
Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and allocate resources efficiently.
* Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage carpenters and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and timely progress.
* Quality and Safety Management: Implement quality control procedures, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular risk assessments.
* Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
* Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and manage procurement of materials and equipment.
* Technical Expertise and Customization: Utilize carpentry skills to guide the team, ensure precise work, and oversee bespoke customizations.
* Regulatory Compliance and Final Inspections: Ensure compliance with building codes, manage inspections, and conduct final project handovers
You will need:
- Experience as a Site Manager
- To have come from a Carpentry background
