Site Manager
to oversee the rendering and cladding works on an existing student accommodation block in Plymouth. This project, valued at approximately 2 million, requires a highly competent professional to ensure the seamless coordination and management of sub-contractors, adherence to timelines, and delivery of high-quality work. Key Responsibilities: Manage all site activities related to the rendering and cladding works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Supervise and coordinate sub-contractors, ensuring their performance aligns with project schedules and quality expectations. Maintain a safe and secure site, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications. Provide clear communication and updates to project stakeholders, including clients and senior management. Resolve any site issues or delays promptly and effectively to keep the project on track. Manage and report on project budgets and timelines. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar rendering and cladding projects, preferably within the student accommodation or residential sectors. Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and regulations related to rendering and cladding. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card are essential.
