A superb permanent Site Manager role has come to fruition for a Dorset based contractor covering small works and main works based from their offices near Broadstone.
In a typical week you will: Manage the day to day running of a construction site. Manage Health, Safety and Environment matters on site. Manage direct labour. Manage subcontractors. Order/call off materials. Liaise with Client team. Carry out short term programming. Prepare and manage RFIs and CSIs. Site document management. Manage Temporary Works on site. Manage and ensure high quality build and finish.
The successful candidate will: Have a proven track record for delivering projects on time, to cost and meeting quality criteria. Have significant experience at senior site management level. Have excellent building knowledge, planning and organisational skills. Have extensive experience in dealing with client's, professional teams, subcontractors and a directly employed workforce. Experienced in working in live environments, such as schools and hospitals. Be dynamic, innovative and able to work on one's own initiative. A strong communicator and team player that can demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills. CIOB / HND Construction related qualifications would be advantageous. Hold relevant training certificates including valid SMSTS and First Aid. Be IT competent.
