Your new company Hays NI are currently representing a local residential building contractor that deliver private & social housing contracts across Northern Ireland. Your new role As a result of recent bid success, the company requires an experienced Site Manager from a Site Engineering background to deliver a new social housing scheme in Belfast, initially on a temporary basis. As Site Manager, you must have experience of leading private residential or social housing schemes from groundworks through to handover. The successful candidate will oversee the daily working schedule and ensure that health & safety regulations are being adhered to whilst having the ability to motivate a team to deliver a high standard of building. Other duties include supervising the use of machinery, prioritising tasks, resolving problems and liaising with all stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed A successful Site Manager will have experience working to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on quality, health & safety. You will be expected to have excellent organisational & leadership skills along with experience in overseeing expenditure and ensuring client deadlines are met. The right candidate will possess a can-do attitude whilst working with integrity and embracing the company background. You will come from a Site Engineering background as this project will involve a complex groundworks package. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS certification. You will be accustomed to setting out on the job.
