Freelance Site Manager Job in Wakefield - 6-8 weeks work Your new company A regional building contractor with a new project starting in Wakefield is looking for a Site Manager to join them on a temporary basis to oversee a refurbishment project in Wakefield that's estimated project duration is 6-8 weeks. Your new role Job duties will include but not be limited to: Oversee and manage all on-site activities related to the re-roofing project. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site staff. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports. Manage project budget and resources efficiently. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site. Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices. Excellent leadership and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field. Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification. What you'll get in return Competitive hourly rate.
