A respected regional contractor based in Cornwall is searching for a motivated and skilled SMSTS Site Manager to join the business. They are predominantly involved in projects across Education, Leisure, Healthcare, and Commercial; however, they also engage in projects in other sectors.
This privately owned company undertakes new build & refurbishment projects for both public and private sector buildings. Projects range from £500K to £5M and include D&B and traditional forms of contract.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Precise and cost-effective pre-start planning of development sites. Securing the construction of commercial projects within completed programmes and budgets. Adhering to company safety, quality, and presentation standards. Maintaining good relationships to uphold the reputation of the company. Ensuring Health & Safety is paramount on site.
Education and Experience: Extensive experience as a Site Manager with a Main Contractor. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of the New Build, Refurbishment, and Commercial sectors. Loyal employment history. Excellent team management skills. SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS. NVQ Level 4 or Similar.
