An excellent opportunity for a freelance No 1 Site Manager has arisen with our Refurbishment / Roofing Client who deliver outstanding refurbishment schemes with values of projects from £500k – £2.5million.
Our client is currently looking for a freelance No 1 Site Manager, to work on the refurbishment and re-roofing of a factory unit in the Wishaw, ML2 area that will run for around 15 weeks starting on the 13th January 2025.
The Company is building a strong reputation for delivering high quality and well-designed schemes that achieve high praise from the end users.
Suitable candidates for this role must have experience as an autonomous No.1 Site Manager with project values from £500k to £2.5million across the refurbishment, construction, and/or roofing sectors ideally.
You will be required to liaise with the client, drive the subcontractors, manage contractors on site as the No.1, address general day-to-day issues, ensure quality and manage the programme while being a self-motivated individual that is autonomous in your role.
The No 1 Site Manager must be capable of managing all aspects of the project, with previous experience of liaising with clients on a daily basis, while reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
Skills / Requirements:
The successful No 1 Site Manager must have previous refurbishment, construction, and/or roofing experience. CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, SMSTS, Manual Handling, Working at Height & Fire Marshall certifications are required. Experience of site managing refurbishment schemes is ideal for this client, with values up to £2.5million. Unfortunately, if you do not have refurbishment or roofing experience as No.1 Site Manager then we will not be able to put you forward for the role due to the client’s requirements.
Salary and Benefits:
On offer is a day rate of up to £260 dependent upon experience for the successful candidate.
