We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Groundwork Specialist to join our team for a residential groundwork project in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in groundwork, civil engineering, or construction, with a focus on residential sites. This role involves undertaking a variety of groundwork tasks to prepare residential properties for development, including drainage installation, foundation excavation, and site preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Drainage Installation:
Installing drainage systems, ensuring proper flow and water management on residential sites. Foundations:
Digging and preparing the ground for foundations, including the placement of reinforcement and formwork. Site Preparation:
Levelling and compacting ground, laying out sub-base for driveways, paths, and building foundations. Concrete Works:
Pouring and finishing concrete for foundations, floors, and external paving areas. Compliance & Safety:
Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards. Team Collaboration:
Working closely with other construction professionals including builders, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project completion. Site Maintenance:
Keeping the site tidy, safe, and organized, with proper storage and disposal of materials. Skills and Qualifications: SMSTS CSCS First aid Additional Requirements: Full UK driving license (preferred, not essential).
