Site Production Manager
Location : Gosberton, Lincolnshire

Competitive Our client currently grows approximately 3000 acres of vegetables within a 12-mile radius. The main crop production areas are in Gosberton on some of the best arable land in County. The Role A strong person is required to cope with the demands of the day-to-day operation. This is a shop floor role covering a large production/despatch area which packs and distributes for retail, food service and wholesale customers. Skills and Qualifications Experience within a vegetable production environment preferred. Working knowledge of BRC would be advantageous. Organise workflow by assigning roles and responsibilities to ensure minimal downtime and maintain a cost-efficient operation. Manage a team of Forklift Drivers & the intake/despatch flow of the yard. Line packing machinery knowledge would be advantageous. Oversee and coach employees/agency staff assigning daily jobs. Ensure good communication with all departments. Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly. Adhere to company policies and procedures and enforce safety guidelines. Good command of written and verbal English and the ability to communicate to a multilingual workforce. Be a good organiser with an ability to multitask within a very fast-paced environment and a positive can-do approach. Benefits Accommodation available if required.
