Job Title:

Site Quantity Surveyor

Description & Background:

Hinkley Point C is a nuclear site, in which the project is to construct two major EPR nuclear plants. With over 4,500 employees across 14 strategic offices, we enhance asset efficiency and optimize maintenance costs throughout all lifecycle phases. An opportunity has arisen for a Site QS to provide estimating and subcontract control support to projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit measure packages for customer invoicing
  • Manage document collection and stakeholder liaison
  • Handle customer queries and valuation conversions
  • Oversee subcontract management, including PWHT
  • Prepare and issue pricing documentation to subcontractors
  • Develop budgets and obtain customer approval
  • Manage subcontractor instructions and change management
  • Track QA documentation and final measures
  • Ensure robust query resolution and invoice processing

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years' quantity surveying experience in mechanical construction
  • Essential: Engineering or commercial qualification
  • Desirable: Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, IT, or equivalent
  • Experience in document control and stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of change management processes
  • Proven ability in subcontractor management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
