As a Site Services Engineer, you will have experience of breakdown and preventative maintenance, working with the Engineering Team Leaders and the wider engineering team ensuring production targets are met by providing the appropriate technical support. As a market leader, our client is dedicated to staying at the forefront of the manufacturing industry, and their Site Services Engineer will play a key role in ensuring preventative and proactive maintenance across various machinery. They’re part of one of the largest manufacturing groups in the World and as such this role will open up a range of opportunities, progression and knowledge building for the successful Site Services Engineer candidates. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical feedback and analysis on daily issues as they arise. Conduct high-level static and dynamic maintenance on all equipment. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards at all times. Assist the Engineering Manager to ensure the site complies fully with Safety, Health, and Environmental legislation. Coordinate emergency response activities, such as fire alarms or chemical spillages. Support the achievement of targets by providing technical expertise for the correction, prevention, and elimination of issues. What We’re Looking For: Technical hands-on engineering experience, ideally gained through a recognized time-served apprenticeship in food manufacturing. Technical qualifications and competence in mechanical and electrical systems. BTEC Engineering certificate or an equivalent qualification. Self-motivated and enthusiastic about achieving exceptional results. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with steam boilers, compressors, and associated pipework. Understanding of continuous improvement to help drive a proactive maintenance culture shift.
