Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Floods Ferry site based in March, Cambridgeshire is looking for an interim Site Services Manager. You will be responsible for managing the site services team to ensure the site is maintained to audit standard at all times. Initially, this is a 10-month interim position with the potential to become permanent. Location: March Position: Operations Manager Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00hrs Main Responsibilities:
Line management of site services team Responsible for all site cleaning undertaken by the team Management of forklift fleet including fuels, servicing and repairs Management of cleaning equipment & chemical stocks Management of pest control, including the online system/site visits/incident escalations and actions To control all recycling, waste segregation and waste vehicle removal Maintain PPE stocks, creating PO’s and managing monthly budget Support the management of external contractors Drive compliance with all safety procedures within your area Key Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar role in a manufacturing environment Possess excellent people management skills You will hold a professional approach to work and have experience of managing a shift or large team You must be conversant with all Microsoft office programmes Willingness to take part in further training courses relevant to the role
