Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of construction activities.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues that arise.

Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking, documentation, and communication.

Manage project budgets by monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective practices are followed throughout the construction process.

Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Provide leadership and direction to the construction team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, progress updates, and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including budgeting and estimating processes.

Proficiency in using construction management software such as Bluebeam and ProCore is highly desirable.

Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to understand schematics and technical drawings.

Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control.

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on building efficient solutions in a dynamic work environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
