Site Supervisor

Site Supervisor Main Contractor – Residential Freelance: Up to £220 per day DOE Duration: 12 months + Based: Canterbury We are currently searching for a Site Supervisor to join a new student accommodation scheme in Canterbury. This scheme is due to start in February 2025 and this position will be run for the duration of the scheme. As Site Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager and Project Manager on the day to day operations of the site. The role: Oversee daily site activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. Enforce health and safety compliance, adhering to CDM regulations and PPE requirements. Plan and manage logistics, including deliveries, storage, and site traffic flow. Supervise on-site labour, assigning tasks and resolving workforce issues. Inspect work quality to meet standards and rectify defects promptly. Liaise with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintain records of progress, deliveries, risk assessments, and incidents. Address on-site challenges such as delays or resource shortages effectively. Experience Required: 3+ years experience working as a Supervisor on Construction projects. Strong communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently as well SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential.
