Full-time About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the safe and compliant operation of their Waste Recycling Facility in Hatfield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waste management, hold a WAMITAB Level 4 qualification, and be keen to develop and grow into a senior role. Your Responsibilities: Ensure the facilities operate in full compliance with Environmental Permits, Planning Permissions, and relevant legislation. Meet regulatory and internal reporting requirements accurately and promptly. Manage and mentor staff, ensuring they are competent in their tasks and responsibilities. Drive operational efficiency and improve site productivity while maximizing throughput. Oversee transport logistics to ensure efficient loading and unloading of materials. Communicate effectively with various departments to align site operations with business goals. Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ). Manage the P&L, including sales and costs. Ensure timely completion and submission of Waste Returns. Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience in Waste management is essential. WAMITAB Level 4 MROC1 certification is essential. Strong leadership and people skills. Good communication and organizational abilities. Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
