  • Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site
  • Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld - Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards
  • Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
  • Tracking/logging daily manpower on site and maintaining a project diary
  • Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed
  • Ensuring that the budget is followed; work with the Project Manager in managing all Division 1 costs
  • Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required

  • 10+ years experience in construction as a Mid-Rise/ICI Site Superintendent working on multiple full-cycle mid-rise/ICI developments (5+ storeys)
  • Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. Preferred)
  • Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
  • Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi family construction projects
  • Able to read construction working drawings including and not limited to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and landscape drawings
