Division Leadership: The earthworks and ground remediation division is led by a skilled team with significant experience in civil engineering. Key Responsibilities: As a Site Supervisor, you will assist in managing the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Assisting with the management of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient site operations. Monitoring site progress and ensuring that work is carried out according to design, schedule, and safety standards. Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications. Maintaining detailed site reports, including daily progress logs, safety records, and quality control documentation. Assisting with the delivery and management of materials and equipment on site. Supporting the Site Manager in overseeing the health and safety of all site personnel, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Ensuring clear communication between the site team, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project delivery. Assisting with the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation. Requirements: To succeed as a Site Supervisor, the ideal candidate will have the following: A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Site Supervisor role, preferably within civil engineering, earthworks, ground remediation, or related construction fields. A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline is desirable, but not essential. Strong knowledge of site management processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to coordinate and supervise site teams effectively, ensuring work is completed to the required standard. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage issues and challenges on-site. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
