Site Technician, 31 March 2025

SCP 4 20 hours per week, permanent, whole of year

Salary £13190 (£12.65 per hour)

Due to retirement, we are looking to appoint an efficient, well-organised, and flexible Site Technician.

You will be responsible for carrying out routine building and ground maintenance work and statutory compliance checks in accordance with health and safety regulations.

The ideal applicant will:

Have experience of working in a similar role

Have some knowledge of health & safety legislation

Possess excellent DIY skills and be able to carry out minor repairs to the building and grounds

Have experience of carrying out statutory compliance checks such as fire and intruder alarm testing, emergency light testing, call points, legionella flushing, and asbestos visual awareness checks

Demonstrate excellent communication skills

The hours of work are split as follows: Monday - Friday 7.00am – 10.00am and Monday – Friday 5.15pm – 6.15pm (apart from Tuesday which is 6.15pm -7.15pm) during term time and will differ dependent on workload during school holidays. Hours can be flexible for the right candidate.
