Exciting developments are going on at our long-established and thriving Beenham site, which is based less than ten miles from the vibrant city of Reading. We’re now looking for an experienced Site Trainer to take the team on a journey of career development and operational excellence.

What’s the mission? You will provide Marley colleagues with career development opportunities, through skills gap analysis, providing support and the delivery of effective, structured training plans. Your role will be critical in enabling personal development for roles within the business, incorporating health, safety, environmental, quality and technical training. You will facilitate an in-depth knowledge of the on-site end-to-end manufacturing processes, creating clear career paths for all current and future colleagues.

What are the mission-critical skills?

A proven track record as a trainer, formulating and delivering on-site development programs on both a 1-21 and group basis. Possess an in-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and associated business standards. Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of automated processes and machinery. Teamwork and collaboration will be in your DNA. Implementation and embedding of Continuous Improvement techniques. Leading and developing colleagues by setting SMART objectives. Coaching & mentoring skills. Promote and foster team working. Influencing and communicating skills, able to operate at all levels with the business. Drive for results (outcomes, customer focus). Provide sponsorship support and encouragement to the team. Act as a roadblock remover. Leading training & development projects. Use of Microsoft Office packages.
