Vehicle Site TECHNICIAN NEEDED (Covering Weekends) Exciting new job for a fast-moving, progressive group due to opening a brand new site. We are looking for a Site Vehicle Technician to keep up with demand within their sales department, getting cars ready for resale. This role covers the weekends and comes with a great uplift in salary to reward you for this. The salary on offer is up to £38,640 for 5 days a week (Friday/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues). The skill range can be level 2 or level 3, so semi-skilled or qualified technicians who want to learn more or an established qualified technician wanting to work in our client's world-class, well-equipped and clean workshop with superb facilities to make you feel at home. This is a crucial role in the success of the business; as such, they offer a great package that sets them apart from other companies in their local area. Some of the perks within this Vehicle Technician role are as follows: Training; you will receive training from your manager, but our client often funds development training courses for their loyal staff members. Working alongside other technicians and master techs in a no bonus environment, so help is always on hand if you need it. Great team environment. Discounted company voucher scheme. Your typical duties will include: General servicing and light mechanical repairs. Getting used cars retail-ready for resale (brakes, pads, suspension, head unit replacements - no heavy mechanics). Diagnose and repair vehicles following manufacturer guidelines. PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection). Complete the final quality check on all vehicles.
