Devon (South) Are you honest, friendly, and active? We`re looking for an individual or couple to join us for the 2025 season at Barhams Woodland Camping.
This role requires you to live on-site and work two one-hour shifts daily—a midday cleaning shift and an evening walk-around shift. With contactless check-in, you`ll be on hand for customer service, delivering wood to pitches, cleaning, maintenance, and overall site security.
Duties include:
General customer service and guest interaction Site and facility maintenance Weekly site safety checks Daily cleaning of amenities General repairs as needed You`ll work alongside the owner, who handles bookings and administration, so your focus will be on the on-site tasks.
Accommodation: We provide a large tent or tipi, or you`re welcome to bring your own motorhome or campervan. You`ll have a private clearing in the woodland, away from the main campsite. As an eco off-grid site, it`s ideal if your accommodation is self-sufficient with solar panels, etc.
Compensation: You`ll be paid hourly for 5-6 days a week (to be agreed), amounting to around 2-3 hours per day, with potential for occasional extra hours. This leaves plenty of time in the mornings and afternoons to relax or explore the local area.
About Barhams Woodland Camping: Now in its second year, Barhams Woodland Camping is a peaceful off-grid site with individual pitches nestled into the woodland. We focus on quality rather than quantity, with 13 tent pitches, 3 campervan pitches, and 2 glamping tents.
Please note: At this time, we cannot accept families with children. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but need to be comfortable being left alone. You must be able to drive or cycle, as the site is remote, with no nearby public transport. The closest village, Denbury, is a 20-minute walk away.
