Occupational Health Advisor Location:

£45,000 About Join one of the UK's largest food manufacturers, with an annual turnover exceeding £3 billion and approximately 13,000 employees across 16 sites. Key Responsibilities Provide occupational health cover to agency staff Support the Company health campaigns within the engagement plan to improve staff turnover Conduct home visits to support long-term sick return to work, reducing absence Advise the site on any changes in law/legislation, minimizing legal risks to the company Conduct food handler assessments Advise on preventative healthcare Undertake confined space health assessments, forklift drivers' health assessments, and night shift workers' assessments Manage referrals and provide advice regarding capability and rehabilitation Key Skills Essential Qualification: Degree in Occupational Health Experience / Knowledge: Forklift Truck medicals DSE assessments (Involvement of Occupational Health if any problems are found) Night Worker Medicals New and Expectant Mothers Risk Assessment Skin surveillance Engineers' medicals LGV medicals Vibration White Finger Lead, Asbestos, Radiation assessments Desirable Drugs and Alcohol Support Health Education
